Safe School Transport

A new 57 seat BH117L Daewoo has been delivered to Macarthur Anglican School at Cobbitty, in the south west of Sydney. Macarthur Anglican School is a community of approximately 1000 students, from Transition (Pre Kindergarten) to Year 12. In an effort to ensure that the specific need of each group of students is catered for, Macarthur has developed a structure of three schools each with their own Head of School. These executive staff members oversee the academic, pastoral, spiritual and social development of the students in their care.

The new bus is fitted with ADR68 seat belted seats, air conditioning, under floor bins and surveillance cameras and it replaces a 1979 Mercedes 0305 that has come to the end if it’s useful life.

The school decided on the Daewoo as the best option after visiting the 2009 Bus NSW Sydney bus show.

This bus will be used to transport students to the school from surrounding suburbs as well as for various sporting and educational activities.
